Only Gold plated jewelry needs to be kept away from sprays, perfumes and water. Only Gold Plated Jewelry should be worn occasionally.
As you all know Silver tends to get tarnished, so all you need to do is wipe before every use with a soft jewelry polishing cloth and get it washed once in a week in a warm water with any soap cleanser and it will shine as before. The more you wear daily the more it shines. We also offer Rhodium Dip on Plain Silver to prevent it from tarnishing.
WHAT IS RHODIUM PLATING :
Covering silver jewellery with rhodium is mainly to prevent oxidation of the silver. Indeed, without rhodium plating, the surface of a classic silver jewel oxidizes in the air and in contact with the skin. With time you have probably already observed this phenomenon appearing on your silver necklaces and bracelets or on your rings: the jewels become dull and take on a blackened aspect with dark spots.
