Return and Refund Policy

At Karat Kings, we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality products and a seamless shopping experience. This Return and Refund Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions applicable to returns, refunds, and exchanges of products purchased through our platform.

By placing an order with Karat Kings, you acknowledge and agree to the terms stated herein.


1. Returns

1.1 Eligibility for Returns (Prepaid Orders Only)

We offer a 15-day return policy applicable exclusively to prepaid orders. You must initiate a return request within 48 hours of receiving the product.

To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition as received.

  • The item must be returned in its original packaging, including all tags, accessories, and documentation.

  • An unboxing video must be provided as proof of condition at the time of delivery.

  • You must complete our official return form/link to initiate the return process.

Upon submission, our support team will verify your request and provide the return address for shipping the product back to us.


1.2 Damaged or Incorrect Items

You are required to inspect your order immediately upon receipt.
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, you must notify us promptly at contact@karatkings.com with relevant details and the unboxing video.
We will review your claim and, if validated, take appropriate corrective action, which may include replacement or refund as per our discretion.

Important: Products purchased during sales, promotional offers, discounts, or “Buy One Get One” (BOGO) offers are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances.


2. Refunds

2.1 Refund Process (Prepaid Orders)

Once we receive your returned item, it will undergo an inspection to verify that it meets our return conditions.

If approved, the refund will be processed within 7–15 business days from the date of receipt. The refund amount will be credited to the original method of payment used for the transaction.

You will be notified via email once:

  • Your returned item has been received and inspected, and

  • Your refund has been approved and processed.


2.2 Non-Approval of Returns

If the returned item fails to meet the return criteria (e.g., signs of use, missing packaging, damage, or lack of proof via unboxing video), the return may be rejected.
In such cases, the item will be sent back to you, and no refund will be issued.


3. Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

  • Refunds and returns are not applicable to Cash on Delivery (COD) orders.

  • Customers may refuse the COD parcel at the time of delivery if they do not wish to accept it.

  • Once a COD order has been delivered, no queries, complaints, or refund requests will be entertained.

  • Customers are advised to inspect their order at delivery prior to acceptance.


4. Product Availability and Substitutions

We endeavor to maintain accurate inventory levels on our website. However, discrepancies may occur.

  • If a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we may fulfill available items first.

  • For prepaid orders, we will contact you to confirm whether you prefer to wait for restock or select an alternative product.

  • For COD orders, you may receive a similar or substitute product in place of the unavailable item.


5. Non-Returnable and Restricted Items

The following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, or plants)

  • Customized or personalized products

  • Personal care or beauty items

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

  • Imitation jewellery or genuine jewellery

  • Sale, promotional, or discounted items

  • Gift cards

If you have questions about the eligibility of a specific product, please contact our support team prior to initiating a return.

Note: Karat Kings shall not be held liable for any claims arising from damaged or defective returns.


6. Shipping and Return Costs

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable under all circumstances.

  • It is recommended that returns be shipped using a trackable courier service, as Karat Kings will not be liable for any lost or undelivered return parcels.


7. General Provisions

  • All returns and refunds are subject to verification and approval by Karat Kings.

  • Karat Kings reserves the right to modify or update this Policy at any time without prior notice.

  • In the event of any dispute, the decision of Karat Kings shall be final and binding.
